Announcing Ramshackle.EXE
Ramshackle.EXE is a 3D platformer about a broken repair robot trying to save their mechanical home from a destructive VIRUS.
Welcome to THE SYSTEM [v157]
At the centre of a robotic civilisation lies THE SYSTEM, an intricate and gargantuan machine that administers and watches over the world. Many rely on its immense power to keep their processes and functions ticking.
That's what it did for thousands of years until VIRUS infected it. They attacked with such ferocity, it wasn't long before THE SYSTEM fell to its corruption, destroying its apparatus, networks and taking control of the many hard workers who live inside THE SYSTEM, turning them against their own home.
While under normal circumstances, the [RepairBot] class of worker would be able to handle the damage, unfortunately there are none left untouched by VIRUS' corruption.
Although, there is technically one left...
Enter RAMSHACKLE
Or RAM to his friends, if he had any.
While RAM is broken and many of his internal features remain damaged, (thus making his journey infinitely more difficult), he will nevertheless do his best to save his home. RAM will jump, boost and repair through 5 distinct zones of THE SYSTEM. From the percussive gears and instruments of the machine sector to the depths of the lava filled ancient sector.
Beware, while once the champions of THE SYSTEM, the Administrators were also corrupted by VIRUS and sent out to destroy RAM, so expect boss fights. Fixing THE SYSTEM saves the world, but also adds new challenges. Saving the world is never easy, especially when it actively wants to harm you. While repairing THE SYSTEM is encouraged, each level becomes dynamically harder as you collect and repair viruses; THE SYSTEM's more dangerous features then become active and VIRUS becomes more aggressive, sending more minions and obstacles after RAM.
Key Features
- Master the rhythm of movement as you jump, boost and flourish through each dynamic level
- Tackle challenging Time Trials and Boss Fights
- SaveStates allow RAM to checkpoint his progress and exact position in the level wherever he wants, just in case. He does feel every death though.
- A cute and dark world to repair, just be careful when it actively tries to harm you. Blame VIRUS.
